This book aims to teach new and non-practising Muslims how to pray. It also includes related information, such as how to prepare for prayer, and about different types and levels of prayer. It also includes many different types of prayers which are more than fifteen. It is written in simple, concise language, and includes some transliteration to assist readers with the correct Arabic pronunciation of prayer, supplications and some short Sūrahs of the Qur’an. The information in this book is based on authentic traditions of Prophet Muhammad who recommended his followers to offer the prayer as he himself did. The author has referenced the most authentic sources and reliable books and scholars of the four orthodox schools of thought in Islam. Regarding controversial issues, the author has done his best to state what he believes is the most correct position, relying on authentic proofs.
